Information on extraordinary social support opportunities for students affected by the conflict in Iran

The University Social Committee (ESZB) of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics provides an opportunity for the University's students affected by the war situation in Iran to apply for a one-time grant.

The support can be requested if the student or the student's household is directly or indirectly affected by the developed conflict, and has consequently encountered unexpected financial difficulties.

Application process:

• To apply, the "Extraordinary social scholarship" or the "Extraordinary social scholarship for self-financed students" application must be submitted in the Unified Grant Management System of the University (MŰEPER).
• A completed and signed template document (certification) must be attached to the application as a mandatory annex, which is available under the Documents tab on the MŰEPER interface.

Amount of support:

Applicant students may receive a one-time payment, the amount of which will be determined based on the number of applications received and the available budget.
