Call for Applications: International Affairs Committee

The University Students’ Union (EHK) of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) is launching the International Affairs Committee (IAC) and invites international students to apply.
The IAC will support BME’s foreign student community by strengthening communication, improving integration, and representing international perspectives within the Students’ Union.
Who Can Apply?
The call is open to all foreign BME students who:
- hold active student status,
- are enrolled in a full-time non-Hungarian programme,
- and have completed at least two active semesters at BME.

Your application must include:
- a data sheet with photo,
- a 300-word cover letter answering the questions listed in the call.
Main Responsibilities
IAC members will:
- support international students with academic and administrative matters,
- assist English-language communication and social media,
- help international student groups and contribute to student events,
- take part in long-term integration projects,
- submit monthly reports and attend regular meetings.
Deadlines
- Application deadline: 4 January 2026 (23:59)
- Results announced: by 31 January 2026
- Term: 31 January – 31 August 2026
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
